Remarks

Since the year 1989 the military authorities in Burma have promoted the name Myanmar not approved by any sitting legislature in Burma.

MiG-29 27-09, Burma 2007.

In December 2009 Myanmar government order in Russia 20 MiGs-29 (in MiG-29SE and MiG-29B according to the RSK MiG annual report for 2009). Apparently MiG won a tender with Chinese J-10 and FC-1. It will be bigest contract since Algerian - about 400 million Euro.

In Ukraine, in the beginning of the year 2010 (Lviv Air Repair Plant) was photographed MiG-29 (9-12) after overhaul, in camouflage without markings that looks like Birmani. Recently Russia, Belarus and Ukraine signed contract for cooperation in overhauls.
