Remarks

In 1997 USA bought 21 MiGs from Moldova (2 x 9-12 early pruduction series, 4 x 9-12, 14 x 9-13, 1 x 9-51 [#61]). Used only for evaluation and tests in National Air Intelligence Center, Dayton, Ohio. Some moldovian was in green camouflage, some in standard gray-lightgreen. Many of then remains in museums and bases, in fictious camouflages and numbers.

2010: despite Moldovian MiGs, in private ownership remains 5 aircrafts, registered by FAA:

* From unspecified country in Eastern Europe 2008 (Romania?)
** A private collector Don Kirlin has two MiGs-29 purchased in 1999 in Kirgizstan (Lugovaya air base, former 715th Fighter Air Regiment, apparently not all aircrafts were transferred to Kazakhstan).
