• In 1996 during take-off from Irkutsk An-124 with two Su-27UBK on board crashed into uptown killing 70 peoples. Two aircrafts were delivered later.
• Vietnamese Su-30MK2 are manufactured by KnAAPO (Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association).
• Su-30MK2 (sometimes called Su-30MK2V) is based on chinese Su-30MK2, with minor upgrades.
• 05.2010: when contracts from 2009 and 2010 will be fulfilled, total account of Su-30MK2 will be 24 in 2012.
